        Profiling

Through the use of solutions and technologies such as cookies, and the processing of your data and online behaviour by Kazar Group Sp. z o.o. and its partners, we can ensure that the content displayed to you is best suited to your needs. Consenting to the processing of the data in the area of profiling, market and statistical analysis is going to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for and what you need.

This content can significantly influence your purchasing decisions – which is why this proposal is intended for people over the age of 18.

        What data do we process?

Kazar uses technology that stores and accesses information on your computer or other networked device (in particular through the use of cookies) regarding your online activities, in order to present you with adaptive advertising, to evaluate certain information about you, including through automated processing of personal data, i.e. profiling (we analyse your activity in order to better adapt to certain, general groups of our customers, however without significantly affecting their decisions – unless you provide a separate consent for that), market and statistical analyses, and to improve the quality of the information you are presented with. This technology is also used by our partners, who may also install such files on your device during your use of our services. In order for us and our partners to be able to use this technology for the purposes of providing electronic services, we ask for your consent to this, e.g., by navigating to our website and allowing us to do so in your browser settings.

When can I revoke my consent to the use of cookies?

Consent can be revoked at any time – however, this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing we had performed prior to the revoking.

What if you opt out of cookies?

Opting out of cookies which allow us to show you interest-based advertising does not mean that you will not receive any advertising when you use our sites or any other sites – you are still going to receive the same number of ads, but they will not be tailored to your current needs and preferences.

How will the website work without my permission to use cookies?

If you have not given your consent, we may still store files on your device, however only those which are necessary to ensure the proper functioning of our website (e.g., related to remembering your login and preferred settings). You can modify these settings within your browser; however, some sections of our website may not function properly.

Are cookies personal data and who can administer them?

To the extent the information obtained through the above technology may be deemed to be your personal data, in principle the Data Controller is Kazar Group Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Przemyśl, at 154 Lwowska St., 37-700 Przemyśl, Poland, unless you also give your additional consent to their processing by our partners, in which case they may also become your personal Data Controller.

There are several bases for processing personal data obtained in this manner. On the one hand, the basis for their processing is your consent to the use of technology using mainly cookies and our legitimate interest, which is the need to ensure the highest quality of the content presented on https://kazar.com  and marketing activities (as well as the legitimate interest of our partners as a third party, i.e., their marketing, in which case they have no access to your data).

On the other hand, however, to the extent that also our partners may have direct access to this information – the legal basis for such processing is your voluntary consent.

What do you gain from data processing?

In addition, if you are at least 18 years of age, we may also use the analysis of your interactions with our websites to create and present you with advertisements and offers (discounts) which are tailored to your preferences to the greatest extent possible, which may materially affect your consumer decisions – however we are going to ask for your consent in this case. In contrast to regular “profiling” (e.g., tailoring our communications to your interests), our actions are distinguished by the fact that their outcome may materially affect your choices as a consumer, which effectively means that they may, for instance, result in a very favourable, temporary shoe offer targeted exclusively at you based on your purchase history and interactions on our site that will not be accessible to our other customers.

The more you use our Websites and shop with us, the better promotions and surprises we can prepare for you. In this case, the basis for such actions is your consent. Remember, failure to do so may reduce the quantity and quality of promotions and special offers available to you.

When can you withdraw your consent for data processing?

You can revoke it at any time – however, this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing we had performed prior to the revoking. We will also process your data for the purposes related to potential disputes between you and the Data Controller (the legal basis for processing is in that case the Data Controller’s legitimate interest).

To whom and under what circumstances may we transfer data?

We may transfer your data to parties who help us operate our website and application, e.g., support us in marketing campaigns, maintain our software, provide support and operation of our ICT tools and systems, provide ongoing legal Websites, carry out audits, etc., including companies in our capital group.

In exceptional cases, we may your data to our processing partners located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), mainly the USA, but only to the extent necessary in connection with their provision of services, in particular IT services to us. The security of your data is ensured by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can obtain a copy of the safety measures we apply to the transfer of data to countries outside the EEA by contacting us.

What is the duration of data processing?

We will process the data obtained, depending on technical issues, until you object to their processing, you delete these files using the settings of your browser / device (whereby deletion of files is not always the same as deletion of personal data obtained through these files) or you revoke your freely given consent, unless the law obliges us to process the data longer or we keep them longer in case of potential claims, for the period of their limitation prescribed by law, in particular the Civil Code.
